Our biofuel feedstocks are refined into the biodiesel used to help decarbonise the world’s transport, energy and industrial power systems.
In addition to the diesel blends you fill your vehicles with at the forecourts, it can be mixed with petroleum diesel and other petroleum-based fuels for use across a huge number of applications, from heating systems and boilers, to agricultural machinery and industrial power generation.
HVO
Lifecycle biofuel feedstock is also used to create HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) – a biofuel that in some cases, can be used as a direct replacement for conventional diesel, without requiring engine modifications.
It’s proving increasingly popular for use in commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural vehicles and mining equipment, as these industries look to cut their emissions.
Our facility
Our biofuel feedstocks are produced at Lifecycle Oils’ expansive, biofuels processing plant in Wednesbury, West Midlands. With dedicated on-site lab facilities, extensive machinery and a unique process, it’s the centre of our operation.
